The Castle Inn is a traditional family-run 16th Century thatched free house pub and hotel with an extensive food menu (available until 9.30pm every night) and regularly changing local real ales and 20 real ciders, near the beautiful Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door of the Jurassic Coastline and surrounded by the Isle of Purbeck countryside. The Castle Inn has been run by the Halliday family for over 30 years, across three generations.
The Castle Inn is extremely Dog Friendly, and dogs are allowed throughout the pub and even have their own treats on the bar! Dogs (and other pets!) are also very welcome in the accommodation, please look at their “Dog Page” for more information!
The Castle Inn is renowned for the quality (and quantity!) of their bar meals, which are all locally-sourced and home made where possible! there is a wide range of dishes on offer and there should be something suitable for everyone!
The Castle Inn also has a great reputation for offering one of the largest selections of traditional Real Ciders (20!) in Dorset, with a strong focus on West Country producers. There is also a large range of Real Ales on offer served direct from the barrel, which are chosen from local breweries and quality guest breweries.
